Because God Was There
A gripping true memoir of survival and redemption. As a child at the end of World War II and through the rise of the Berlin Wall, Belma Vardy endured brutality, separation, and the shattering of family. Instead of bitterness, she found healing in Jesus Christ. Through storytelling, Vardy traces her journey from trauma to wholeness—offering hope to anyone facing unresolved pain, PTSD, or family fracture. (Publisher: Castle Quay Books.)
Because the Spirit Was There: Windows into First Nations Communities
Part oral-history, part testimony, this collection opens “windows” into Indigenous communities across Canada, sharing stories of loss, courage, and encounters with the Holy Spirit. Vardy amplifies voices of Elders, leaders, and families whose experiences point to hope, healing, and identity in God. With endorsements from First Nations leaders, the book invites respectful listening and prayerful engagement. (Publisher: Castle Quay Books.)
